Introducing Super Cotton - supporting Australian farmers

Posted by Rob Taylor on

Just like you, we’ve been thinking of ways we can help support Australia through these challenging times.  As an Australian social enterprise, we want to give you opportunities to help the global village we all live in, including our Aussie farmers.

Introducing our new Australian Super-Cotton Dream-Tees

That is why we are so excited to be making our new range of Dream-Tees from Australian super-cotton grown right here in St George, Queensland.

It all comes from the “Benelong” family farm, which started growing cotton in 1976. Farmer Glenn Rogan, the has been there for over 35 years, running his family business.

Glenn, and his daughter Rebecca, have studied Agricultural Science “to be better farmers”. Glenn farms the cotton using Best Management Practices (BMP), which is regarded as one of the most sustainable cotton farming practices in the world! He’s also using only one-quarter of the water and zero pesticides, so it’s better for the environment and you. This premium cotton features long fibres, which means softer and more luxurious cotton.

Right now, we are creating some fantastic new sleepwear for you, and you can rest easy knowing that you’re making a real difference in this world - empowering people in our global village sewing centres and also supporting our local Aussie farmers.

Stay tuned for more updates soon.
